These items will look and feel like regular CostCertified global items but are providing actual price points for materials.

How do I add an Auto Cost item to my quote?

Head over to the Auto Cost item library, search for the materials you need and add them to the quote like you would for your own items.

You will notice the Auto Cost items have a symbol next to them so you can tell them apart from regular items in your library.

How do cost updates affect my quotes?

You will see a warning if there are any Auto Cost updates for items in your quote.

And you will be able to decide if you want to keep your pricing the same by adjusting your markup, or if you want to pass the updated costs to the client and keep your margins the same
