Showing dimensions on assemblies in the presentation

You can show dimensions on your presentations to your customers. You can also hide dimensions on a dimension-by-dimension basis if you have assembly dimensions visibility turned on in your presentation settings.

1. Open a project

2. Go to the Preview tab

3. Enable editing with the Edit button located on the top bar above the presentation

4. Open presentation settings from the lower panel that opens up

5. First, enable Show assembly dimensions in presentation settings

6. Save changes to your presentation to keep this setting.

7. Then you should see dimensions on each assembly. Dimensions only show if they are used somewhere. Dimensions will show on de-emphasized assemblies (assemblies that resemble an item), as well as expanded and collapsed assemblies.

8. You can click on each dimension to toggle them visible or hidden. When in edit mode you will always see them, turn off editing to see what your customer will see.

   1. In order to save the dimension view settings in a saved assembly, you must Update searchable assembly on the assembly after you make the dimension visibility changes.
