Printing or downloading a proposal as PDF

You can view, download, and print a PDF version of each proposal.

NOTE: Some PDFs may take longer to load. This can be avoided by adjusting the PDF settings.

  • Go to the Files tab in the project you wish to see

  • On the right hand panel, you will see Custom documents list, which is a list of different document types.

    • The master document shows everything, the cost, the price, the quantities and production notes. This is intended for internal use.

    • The subcontractor document shows the quantities but not the cost or pricing for items.

    • The default document shows it with recommended settings for displaying it to your customer.

  • You can override the display settings when the document viewer window opens by clicking the Document options button

  • Click Download to download the document, it can take a few seconds to generate.

Your customer can download a copy too.

  • From the presentation view (which is what they see when you send them their quote), they can choose to toggle from the standard/interactive view to the document/print view.

  • Below the heading, click the print icon.

  • Your customer does not have document options to override the settings you set, but they can download/print.

  • The document in this view adopts a mix of the presentation settings, and assembly-level visibility options on pricing. The settings on the print view should be exactly the same as on the interactive view.
